Synopsis

Lorna’s resentment toward her father stemmed from a long-held conviction that his irresponsibility had destroyed her mother. But that resentment curdled into something far darker, a profound loathing, when he violated her. At that point, Lorna reached the breaking point, and she delivered him to the authorities. Now offered a chance at a fresh beginning, she wonders if the specters of her past will finally release their grip.
