Synopsis

Elsa had never imagined her life would hold such vibrant hues as those found in the romance comics she devoured whenever she had a moment. The comics offered an escape from the stark reality of her existence as a housemaid to a cruel landlady. To the old woman's displeasure, her son noticed Elsa’s beauty and fell in love with the humble maid. As this turn of events began to mirror the narratives from her comics, Elsa realized that happily ever afters were not always guaranteed in the real world.
