Synopsis

Cecile had scarcely reached the age of womanhood when the news of her pregnancy brought no apprehension, only a burgeoning joy. She and Mike had found love, and envisioned a future woven with beauty and shared dreams. But before her pregnancy became visibly evident, Mike vanished. Then, his brother Anthony appeared, offering a proposal of marriage, framed as a way to shield Cecile from shame. Driven by resentment, she accepted, unaware of the true motive behind such a calculated arrangement.
