Driven by the results of online polls, manga artist Suzugamori Chika embarks on a journey. Her initial destination is Aizuwakamatsu.

Alone, Chika travels to Matsushima, a faint loneliness settling upon her. Later, Koyomi joins her on a journey to Kurobe in Toyama.

Chika and her junior, Yui, embarked on their first trip together, a journey to Takamatsu in the Kagawa Prefecture of Shikoku.

Chika journeyed to Kyoto in the company of manga artists Fuyune and Riri, finding herself deeply moved by the unfolding of their creative process.

Chika traveled to Tochigi by herself, and later, she went with Koyomi to Awashima.

Chika’s travels with Koyomi conclude, and Yui joins them for the next installment, "The Epic Summer Journey: Tokyo Arc."

Chika made a visit to the Ise Shrine with Riri. Afterward, Yoshimoto arranged for her to depart on a late-night bus journey with Yui and Fuyune.

With Fuyune and Yui as companions, Chika journeys through Hiroshima. Afterward, she compiles a preliminary version of her work, which her editor subsequently approves.

Chika embarked on a solitary pilgrimage, first to Aomori and then to Wakayama, in pursuit of the year's first sunrise.

Following Chika's return from her independent travels in Wakayama, Koyomi accompanies her on a journey to Hanamaki in Iwate Prefecture.

In Shimane, Chika and Fuyune visit Izumo-Taisha. There, Chika learns that Fuyune and Riri had been arguing.

A sudden appearance by Riri invigorated Chika. Yoshimoto then extended to Chika an opportunity for publication of her work.
