Synopsis

Beneath the veneer of smiles, a deep rot festers within the Hudnall family. For years, Bill, Stephanie, and their three children have concealed their suffering, desperately striving to maintain a semblance of normalcy. But in 2011, the carefully constructed illusion irrevocably breaks, shattered by an act of violence – the striking of a pickaxe.
