Synopsis

The 1976-1977 Broadway season offered a wealth of compelling theatrical works. The competition for the Best Play award was particularly strong, with nominees including *Otherwise Engaged*, *The Shadow Box*, *Streamers*, and *For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow Is Enuf*.
