Synopsis

The assistant to an exterminator discovers the futility of traps laid beneath hidden tunnels. Defeated after a comedy awards loss, a performer attempts to ascend through violence. A knife-thrower's practice session takes a fatal turn, and a young man is compelled into marriage with a pair of unsettling sisters.
