Synopsis

For years, Patrick Dykstra has journeyed the world, immersed in the lives of whales, studying their senses – how they see, how they hear, and how they perceive the world around them beneath the waves. In Dominica, he encounters a profoundly moving experience: a close encounter with a sperm whale he affectionately calls “Delores.” Extraordinary footage captures Patrick and the whale as they attempt to communicate, a remarkable exchange of presence and awareness.
