In 2013, a Guatemalan fisherman, battling to provide for his family, ventured further into the ocean in pursuit of sustenance. Driven by desperation, he steered his small boat far out to sea, into perilous waters. With no land in sight, the sun relentless, he cut the engine and leaned over the vessel's edge.
