Synopsis

Once largely overlooked, sloths have recently captured the attention of scientific researchers. With habitat loss due to development increasingly displacing these gentle animals, sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers are emerging. Filmed across Panama, Costa Rica, and Colombia, this is a story of connection: a journalist's bond with a sloth she affectionately calls Velcro, and the collaborative efforts of many dedicated individuals striving to understand and safeguard these creatures.
