Synopsis

In the icy valleys of Japan’s Shiga Highlands, a band of snow monkeys navigates a structured society of rank and privilege, where each individual understands their position. Their leader, recently ascended to the role, is a somewhat solitary and taciturn figure. Yet, one small monkey, unknowingly oblivious to his own modest standing, extends a tentative connection to this lonely leader. A bond forms between them, gradually thawing the leader's reserved nature. This rare and remarkable gesture pr
