The rhythm of life in the Kalahari Desert is dictated by the shifting seasons of rain and drought, shaping the existence of its diverse inhabitants. Zebras, wildebeests, elephants, finches, bullfrogs, and flamingos all navigate this challenging landscape. For the flamingos, the harsh reality is particularly stark; when feeding grounds become barren, their young must undertake a grueling journey of nearly one hundred miles to find sustenance.
