Synopsis

This documentary chronicles the lives of hippopotamuses along the banks of Zambia’s Luangwa River. It features scenes of males battling for dominance, females fiercely guarding their calves, the hippo’s vital role in maintaining the river's ecosystem, and the intricate social rituals surrounding the dominant male of the pod. The narrative is voiced by Mark Hamill.
