Synopsis

Zanzibar presents itself as a tropical paradise, encircled by shimmering aquamarine waters and fringed with white sand. Yet, life here is a constant struggle. Few understand this better than Issa Simai, who spends his days in the warm Indian Ocean, spear in hand, striving to catch enough octopus or lobster to sustain himself. Issa is also a member of The Leopards, Zanzibar's most celebrated soccer team. This season, they have earned a place in the playoffs on the mainland, in Dar es Salaam, T
