Synopsis

Like the great herds of wildebeest, the inhabitants of Africa's vast Serengeti are in perpetual motion. This episode follows two women on a quest for spiritual grounding. Alice Wangui, a hair salon owner in Nairobi, journeys to her ancestral Kikuyu village, hoping to instill a sense of belonging in her child. On the savanna, Flora Salonik resides in a secluded farming community, wrestling with the choice of whether to return to Arusha, Tanzania, the vibrant city of her origins.
