Synopsis

The elusive Asian elephant faces a growing crisis, its habitat shrinking with relentless deforestation. Across Asia, industrial expansion has diminished the livelihoods of mahouts, the elephant handlers, forcing them and their trained animals into bustling urban centers like Bangkok. There, they now seek sustenance and meager income through donations and the interest of curious tourists.
