Synopsis

*Jackals of the African Crater* chronicles the often poignant and dramatic lives of these wild canids. The narrative follows one pair of black-backed jackals as they desperately strive to nourish their pups during a harsh dry season, only to witness the loss of one of their nearly independent offspring to a predatory golden jackal.
