Synopsis

The Monteverde preserve in Costa Rica boasts a remarkable diversity of flora, encompassing around two hundred tree species, some of which soar to heights of three hundred feet. Its fauna is equally compelling, harboring creatures both perilous and magnificent: venomous scorpions, swarms of army ants, and the resplendent quetzal, a bird revered as sacred by the Maya.
