Synopsis

The Pacific coast of South America, with its frigid waters, harbors some of the world's most abundant marine life. Paradoxically, this shoreline also boasts the driest desert on Earth. And yet, it teems with creatures. Lizards seize scraps from the surf, while gulls soar forty miles inland to build their nests. Condors hunt for carrion, and vampire bats feed on slumbering sea lions. It is a striking testament to the grandeur of this immense land.
