Synopsis

Duke Alpheus appeared at the palace without warning. In Athanasia’s dreams, he was a man driven by ambition, one who manipulated Jennette to further his own ascent. Disturbed by the deviation from her dream-visions, Athanasia discovered an ancient book that promised instruction in magic. As she began her studies, the enigmatic great wizard Lucas materialized before her, bearing a caution.
