Synopsis

Lilian and Athanasia were summoned to meet with Claude, where he declared his intention to oversee Athanasia’s welfare from that day forward. It was the very last thing Athanasia desired – to draw his attention. Yet, he insisted upon a private tea. He had always treated her with such coldness. What prompted this sudden interest? Was it merely a component of the tragic destiny she so desperately sought to avoid?
