Synopsis

Having established himself as a skilled hunter during Lewis and Clark's expedition into the Louisiana Territory, John Colter instead chose a life within the wilderness, joining the burgeoning fur trade. However, his repeated disregard for the Blackfeet’s warnings against hunting their sacred beaver on their lands resulted in his capture, forcing him into a desperate flight for survival.
