Synopsis

The reading class felt interminable to Sif and Cornelius. They were weary of the constant interruptions from Mads and Zoe, whose boredom seemed to bloom with every sentence. Yet, a flicker of hope ignited within them: perhaps this class held a purpose beyond tediousness, if it meant the freedom to shape the narrative themselves.
