Synopsis

Realizing the enigmatic figure had traded Yan'er’s life force for his own, Elder Yan Lei implored the castle master, confessing his unfamiliarity with the individual and beseeching him not to aid the mysterious man. The castle master responded that his actions were motivated solely by his daughter's well-being. He explained that the rift between them and the seven major sects stemmed from a deficiency in Nascent Soul cultivators.
