Creating a prequel show following the popularity of the recent IT movies presents a significant challenge, especially given audience awareness of future events. I had hoped the series would delve into Pennywise’s origins. Although it touched on that subject somewhat, it didn't offer much in the way of explanation. The production quality was impressive, but the narrative felt disjointed and relied heavily on the concept of friendship as a means to defeat this malevolent being. It’s disappointing. Perhaps the next season will prove more satisfying.
