Synopsis

Saunders escalates his pressure on the President, compelling Palmer into an unusual press conference. He then issues an order for the elimination of the CTU agent capable of tracking him. Jack discovers a woman who might lead him to Saunders, but a sudden assault alters the course of events. As Gael's condition deteriorates, Michelle devises a means to alleviate the suffering of those at the hotel.
