Synopsis

At the accident and emergency department, Carole, a woman of forty-five, is admitted following a sudden collapse and reports of chest pain. Collette, the dinner lady, has sustained a cut to her finger while preparing vegetables. Lucy, twenty-five years old and living with intracranial hypertension, is experiencing a debilitating headache. And Philip, fifty-three, was brought in urgently after a seizure; medical staff are considering the possibility of a stroke.
