Synopsis

At work, Chris suffered a devastating injury when a twelve-tonne lorry crushed his leg, prompting a hurried transport to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. Elsewhere, Elizabeth sustained a head wound after a fall while cleaning a pub. And retired miner Alan, while enjoying a walk with his dog, experienced a fall of his own.
