Synopsis

The ambulance arrived with a flurry, carrying a fourteen-year-old who had fallen headfirst from her bicycle. Inside, a fifty-six-year-old man struggled for breath, his airway constricted by a severe ear infection. Elsewhere, a plasterer was recovering from a serious workplace accident.
