Synopsis

Mary and Sandra were assigned to the same murder trial, where the jury stood divided: eleven votes for guilt, one dissenting vote of innocence – a vote cast by Sandra. Despite hours passing, she remained steadfast, and Mary grew increasingly frustrated, as that evening was her anniversary. They held a final vote, and this time, Mary’s was the solitary voice against conviction. The judge ordered them sequestered in a hotel for the night, leaving Mary to face missing her dinner with Lester.
