Synopsis

Brenda’s grandfather appeared one afternoon carrying a treasured Wailing Eddie record. As she listened, an unfortunate slip resulted in a scratch across its surface, sending her grandfather into visible distress. Brenda struggled to grasp why this blues recording held such significance; it was just music, after all. Later, Mary and Lester located another scarce copy of the same record, only for Brenda to inadvertently damage it as well. The narrative interwove these incidents with scenes
