Synopsis

A wave of disappointment washed over Mary when Brenda, returning from University Day, expressed her desire to attend Northwestern. Anticipating an eventual empty nest, she impulsively insisted Lester give her a position at the construction site—only to be dismissed on her very first day. Seeking employment elsewhere, Mary found herself working at a travel agency alongside Sandra. Her competence quickly proved invaluable, and her boss proposed that she join him on a business trip.
