Synopsis

Sandra confided in Mary that her difficulty holding down jobs stemmed from the resentment of other women. Hearing this, Mary inquired of Lester whether he knew of any suitable positions. He readily admitted his company was seeking a receptionist for their main office, and Sandra secured the role. Yet, Pearl and Rose voiced such concerns about Sandra’s proximity to Lester that Mary herself began to feel suspicious and consumed by jealousy.
