It's an enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and feel comfortable suggesting to others. Kevin James and Rosario Dawson both deliver solid performances, though they are well-supported by a strong cast, including Adam Sandler voicing many of the animal characters. I would have liked to see the character react more dramatically to the animals speaking, but instead it takes on a vibe similar to "Do Little," featuring Leslie Bibb and Rosario Dawson competing for the attention of an older, overweight man who isn't wealthy. If you’re willing to accept some unlikely plot points, you can relax and have fun with this one; the zoo environment leads to some amusing, albeit silly, scenarios.
