This is a really strong crime drama centered on its characters, featuring excellent acting from Gyllenhaal, Ruffalo, and Downey Jr. It had been some time since I'd watched it last, but I felt like revisiting it—I believe I’ve seen it around five times total, including when it played in theaters with the original rating and later on DVD. Despite its length of approximately two hours and forty-five minutes, it remains consistently interesting and captivating from beginning to end, although I'm not entirely convinced that the ending is realistic. **4.5/5**
