It’s an acceptable film; I don’t foresee revisiting it, though I could suggest it, particularly to viewers who are younger. My primary issue lies with the protagonist, whose flaws aren’t redeemed until he becomes something of a tragic figure near the end. Even then, his character isn't improved—he simply suffers consequences for pursuing social status, which ultimately leads him to make the right choice and unexpectedly find a positive resolution. Aside from that, the rest of the movie is quite good, bringing to mind a version of "Mean Girls" geared toward a younger crowd. The film examines the social dynamics as if they were part of an ecosystem, with a metaphorical hierarchy of survival at stake. There are several memorable characters and amusing occurrences throughout the story, blending humor derived from both harshness and ridiculousness. It’s not poorly made, but I didn't connect with the central character, creating this odd feeling within what is otherwise a well-crafted movie.
