The movie seems designed to poke fun at both yoga practitioners and film critics, recognizing from the start that it wouldn’t meet critical standards and opting for a roundabout way of criticizing them instead. Martial arts might have been more suitable if they were aiming for a spiritual feel, particularly given the focus on two young women. > "This is so basic." It's connected to the director’s earlier film 'Tusk,' with Justin Long reprising his role in a different capacity. The plot revolves around two high school girls who hold down jobs at their father’s small grocery store, deeply invested in yoga and seeking out an expert instructor. When they face an unforeseen danger, they put their training to use to deal with it. That's the premise, leading into what follows. The film also marks Lily Rose Depp’s debut in acting. I wasn’t aware Johnny Depp was involved until I heard his voice, and then discovered he appeared almost unrecognizable. The opportunity for a father-daughter collaboration on her first film is genuinely nice to hear about, though the project itself isn't entirely convincing. It appears like a promising idea that fell short due to poor storytelling and execution. It felt more like a television program lasting roughly 40 minutes – far too brief and silly for a full-length movie. While it’s at least passable, it doesn’t quite measure up, so consider your options before deciding whether or not to watch it. _4/10_
