This 'Yellowbird' appeared after 'Free Birds' and before 'Angry Birds'. I enjoyed all three; they’re about birds, but each one offers something distinct. It's a French film presented in English. The movie centers on a yellow bird raised by a ladybug. He spent his life sheltered within a small space, yet fate has selected him to guide a group of birds during their winter migration. The story follows how he manages this task despite having no prior experience. The animation quality was high; the character designs and settings were remarkable. The colors and textures were also very well done. However, the plot felt lacking. There weren’t any truly memorable or significant moments in the adventure. It contained some amusing jokes, but it didn't feel like a defining animated film experience. It's essentially a straightforward narrative about deception and correcting your actions once you realize what you’ve done. I don’t think everyone will find it appealing, though children probably will. My viewing was uneven, with moments that felt good alongside others that didn’t quite work. At least the ending was satisfactory. Animated movies aren't released every week, and I’ve seen most of the popular ones already, so these are what remains to watch. For people who appreciate animation, this isn't a bad movie if you’re open to films with good visuals, aside from the plot, which was just average.
