It probably deserves some credit for not being worse than it could have been. Considering the title—which certainly raised concerns—I didn’t anticipate *#Xmas* would be particularly impactful. However, it turns out to be a reasonably decent holiday movie intended for television viewing. I did find Clare Bowen pleasant to watch in the central role; she wasn't exceptional, but her presence was agreeable. Brant Daugherty handles the other roles adequately, and Lillian Doucet-Roche and Sebastian Stewart are acceptable as well—though their characters’ supposed separation seemed somewhat unbalanced, leaning too heavily against Doucet-Roche’s character, in my view. Ultimately, I believe the movie is simply a bit too unremarkable; it's not something I actively dislike, but there's just nothing particularly noteworthy about what unfolds.
