It’s genuinely a fresh slasher film, a welcome addition to contemporary horror. It seems like so many films these days are either rehashes or rely on supernatural themes, making it really enjoyable to witness something that returns to the basics of straightforward brutality. However, this movie goes beyond that; at its core lies a surprisingly poignant narrative concerning aging and feeling unimportant. I found it fascinating to feel such an emotional connection with the killer while simultaneously being unsettled by their behavior. I’m having a hard time believing how exceptional this film is! The violence, the way things are arranged, the conversations, the storyline—I appreciated every aspect of it.
