I have to say, *X-Men* is really quite good. This is a franchise I’m only just getting around to, even though I've been aware of it for years. It makes for an enjoyable start, there’s plenty here to keep you entertained. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine definitely carries the film, although Patrick Stewart (Professor X) and Ian McKellen (Magneto) also do a commendable job. I’m curious now to see what comes next in the series and the other movies that followed.
