This film didn’t really click with me. While there were elements related to its backstory that I found engaging, the rhythm and performances just seemed strange—I'm not sure exactly what it was, but "campy" is the first thing that popped into my head. It reminded me of those final three Star Wars installments. The conversations and general feel didn’t have enough gravity. The preview for [X-Men: Days of Future Past](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/127585-x-men-days-of-future-past) looks more appealing, and Bryan Singer is directing again. The strongest X-Men films are definitely the first two, so I’m hoping he can get it back on track.
