Initially, I wasn’t sure about this film; it seemed like it might be another piece of propagandistic material. The story began with a group including an interracial couple and a gay pair—characters portrayed as privileged city dwellers with liberal viewpoints. They were so irritating and foolish that I found myself hoping the antagonists would eliminate them, which surprisingly happened. Just two managed to live; one aligned himself with the opposing side, while the other simply got away. The way things concluded actually pleased me.
