I didn’t think it was bad. It’s good that this wasn’t simply a copy of the first one—I do have some affection for that earlier film, despite its problems. This installment gave me vibes similar to *The Witch*, and I managed to find it somewhat enjoyable; Charlotte Vega was good in the starring role. Still, those six central characters felt like complete fools, though perhaps that’s what makes it feel genuine—I can easily imagine people in their twenties wandering off course like that. I don't expect to revisit it any time before too long, but it might be worth renting. **3.0/5**
