This year's offerings include some truly worthwhile films, and "Wolfs" is certainly among them. It doesn’t break new ground within the action-comedy space, but it distinguishes itself thanks to the remarkable connection between George Clooney and Brad Pitt; their presence really enhances a fairly standard, though consistently amusing, story. Director Jon Watts maintains an energetic and enjoyable rhythm, using the constant back-and-forth dialogue between the main characters to create scenes filled with wry and humorous moments. Austin Abrams is also noteworthy, providing a welcome element of surprise as he skillfully combines innocence and humor. It's ultimately a simple, easy-to-enjoy film that should appeal to viewers of all ages. Rating: B+
