It’s an enjoyable film that I would happily watch again, and I suggest it for those familiar with the initial installment. It's evident this one was made with fewer resources than the first movie; there are no well-known actors or intricate camera work involved. The narrative also feels somewhat less polished. I appreciate the premise of someone pursuing a lost love, especially when set against the backdrop of secluded woodland areas—it holds considerable promise. However, I believe that potential wasn't fully realized because an English character disrupted the dynamic between the best friends, and some generic antagonists diminished the forest’s sense of remoteness. That said, the writing is solid, and it manages to maintain a good equilibrium among the different plotlines; it simply didn’t deliver what I was hoping for. The movie provides ample humor, romantic elements, and uncomfortable situations that help sustain viewer interest.
