I usually start my reviews by looking at the lowest ratings just so I can see what minor issues people are focusing on—it’s a way for me to dismiss them. However, as of right now, there aren’t any 1-star reviews posted. That should give you an idea about the film. It really ought to indicate that even at its weakest points, "With Honors" is still entertaining and pleasant to watch. And it genuinely is. I suspect what this likely means is that the group of people who find fault with everything and demand absolute realism just haven’t seen it yet. It doesn't matter either way. The point is, it’s a fun movie full of predictable elements you’d expect from something like this, and it has unexpected moments of humor that give it its own distinct character.
