The performance by Divoff remains excellent as the Djinn. While _Wishmaster 2_ is better than any of the subsequent installments in the series, _Evil Never Dies_ doesn't build on what made the initial film successful; it simply selects some of those elements and then fails to develop them effectively. Final rating:★★½ - There was a great deal here that I found appealing, but ultimately it didn’t succeed as a complete package.
