I genuinely enjoyed experiencing *'Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken'*. There were a couple of aspects that made me feel uncomfortable, including the romantic storyline (there seemed to be an age difference) and the fact that it centers on diving horses; I wasn’t previously aware of what a disturbing practice that was. However, since the film draws from actual events, evaluating those elements is tricky. It certainly gave me pause at times. Aside from that, there's much to appreciate about this movie. The acting is superb. Gabrielle Anwar delivers an exceptional performance as Sonora, especially in the final section of the story. Michael Schoeffling and Cliff Robertson are also very good, and the three actors have a great chemistry – it’s clear they made smart choices when selecting the cast. I was really impressed with the film's production values; the musical score is fantastic, and the editing is well done too. The storyline itself is captivating, and I remained engaged for the entire 88 minutes. It manages to be both funny and touching. It’s another lesser-known treasure in Disney’s live-action films. If you have a chance, give it a view.
