The follow-up offers a bigger scope and a noticeably gloomier tone, yet it doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessor. While boasting impressive visuals and skillful execution on a technical level, the movie falls short in other areas. The acting feels less impactful, the story moves at an inconsistent speed, and the length—clocking in at three hours—feels excessive.
